Brooklyn Eats is Brooklyn’s first food & beverage trade show that supports food manufacturing businesses and creates a borough- wide community of food producers. Brooklyn Eats was held at 630 Flushing Avenue in the former Pfizer plant, a large multi-tenant building that caters to small and medium sized food manufacturers offering a range of very small to very large spaces.

The event culminated in an after party filled with local food and drinks on the evening of June 27. Participating were many vendors from various Brooklyn-based food companies, including manufacturers and businesses involved in packaging and distributing at least one made-in-Brooklyn product.

Food is very trendy in Brooklyn, and lately food manufacturing has become one of the fastest growing industries. To say that something is made in Brooklyn brings to mind a high quality, interesting and delicious product. The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has long recognized the importance of food related businesses to the local economy.

It has supported the industry through various food-related events, such as Brooklyn Eats brand and the traditional Brooklyn Pavilion at the Fancy Food Show. The Chamber’s new creation, Brooklyn Eats, is the borough’s leading food manufacturing trade show that introduces and promotes local products and manufacturers by featuring the best of new and old Brooklyn.
