- 「喂台灣」復活節全家娛樂做公益復活節就要到了,全家該去哪裡撿蛋呢?4月16日下午 2-4pm法拉盛將有一場由”Hello Taiwan” 「喂台灣」 所舉辦,非常富有意義的復活節彩蛋慈善尋寶活動,讓全家不但一起慶祝復活節,同時還可以做公益!今年復活節特邀幾位台美裔兒童表演, 此外透過本次活動所有的盈餘及募款都將捐助給(烏克蘭人道主義救濟) 和 (2021 年 12 月龍捲風侵襲)。 亞裔聚集的法拉盛,是美國宗教自由的發源地。從法拉盛市區方圓一哩內有許多古蹟,也是貴格教徒從荷蘭史岱文森總督獲得信仰的許可,在此公開的不受打壓的信教。這在現在開放自由的美國來看,似乎是不可思議。而這次的活動的地點,就是從法拉盛的自由一哩路上的貴格會所 (Quaker Meeting House) 開始。小朋友將在在三百多年的古蹟內尋蛋! 自2012年起,「喂台灣」活動已經募捐近15萬美元,幫助給需要的單位, 包括珊迪颶風Hurricane Sandy(紐約市消防局 FDNY,2012)、海燕颱風Typhoon Haiyan(菲律賓 Consulate General of the Philippines,2013)、家暴關懷(紐約勵馨基金會 Garden of Hope,2014)、 氣爆燙傷(台灣陽光基金會Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation,2015)、 2016為海地馬修颶風(Hurricane Matthew Haiti) 重建募款、2017年波多黎各在颶風 (Hurricane Maria Puerto Rico) 來襲時造成非常大的損失,居民流離四散, 「喂台灣」也伸出援手募款幫助波多黎各的朋友。2018「喂!台灣」捐贈”颶風邁克 (Hurricane Michael)” 受害者和”麻疹和風疹計劃 (The Measles & Rubella Initiative)”,這是一項全球合作計劃,確保沒有兒童死於麻疹。2019年「喂!台灣」募款捐贈(滾石基金會 The Rollstone Foundation),為特殊需求兒童 (也就是身心障礙兒) […]

- 美東中文學校協會第六區 恢復舉辦國語歌唱比賽美東中文學校協會第六區繼於2週前圓滿舉辦實體國語演講比賽後,再度於紐約華僑文教中心舉辦實體國語歌唱比賽,共計6所中文學校多達43位學生無懼料峭春寒前來參加。只見禮堂座無虛席、令人感動鼓舞!這場賽事的成功舉辦,更加堅定的向紐約僑學界傳遞了美東中文學校協會第六區恢復舉辦校際實體交流活動與學藝競賽的決心與投入! 紐約文教中心主任陳永豐致詞時表示,這場比賽是僑委會90週年紀念活動之一,非常具有意義;並表示他數年前在紐西蘭服務時,曾有一位男學生是因為要學周杰倫的歌曲才決定要上中文學校,可見唱華語歌對學華文是有多麼大的吸引力。雙文教育系統教育主任方吉正也分享了他當年創辦國語歌唱比賽的初衷,就是希望三個女兒長大後能講出流利且字正腔圓的中文,而最好的方法就是要她們學唱華語歌!他也相信在場的家長們跟他對孩子講中文的要求是一樣的。 本次活動由美東中文學校協會第六區理事長島大頸中文學校校長邱琼雯及長島文協中文學校校長甘居正統籌,人力中心校長石蔚靜擔任主持人,並由雙文教育系統教育主任方吉正率領團隊負責賽事安排,成員包括美東中文學校協會第六區前理事蔣昌棟、長島南灣中文學校校長黃菁齡、長島慈濟人文學校校長莊淂隆、副校長陳敬華等。經過了長達2個半小時的激烈競爭,同學們均展現美妙的歌喉、標準的中文咬字與活潑生動的演出,在文協前校長岑世民、長恩前校長顏長美、以及優勢學苑校長蘇郁琇等三位評審公平公正公開的評分下,比賽結果出爐。 個人組方面低年級組第一名孫靜文(長島文協),第二名陳音潔(長島大頸),第三名李喬因(紐約慈濟);中年級組第一名李姿穎(長島大頸),第二名張伊寧(長島慈濟),第三名王娜(新城歸正教會);高年級組第一名陳鈺(紐約慈濟),第二名白靚(紐約華僑),第三名陳泰霖(長島慈濟)。 團體賽方面低年級隊伍第一名是「蠔灣三姐妹」(朱芸瑩、朱芸萱、陳亞婷-長島慈濟),第二名是「明日之星」(張彩韻、黃中宇、呂姮瑩、張紘翔-紐約慈濟),第三名是「小月亮」(儲沁穎、康坤庭-長島大頸);中年級隊伍第一名是「如彥甯怡四重唱」(張琋甯、陳欣如、陳欣怡、陳熙彥-長島慈濟),第二名是「小少女隊」(吳宣、鄒立安、辛雨嫻-長島大頸),第三名是「飛翔隊」(張語崴、陳筱婷-紐約慈濟);高年級隊伍第一名是「Tiger C」(白鷺、白蕾-紐約華僑),第二名是「若薇之音」(陳若依、羅薇-紐約慈濟),第三名是「八年誠班 愛拼才會贏」(蔣咏琛、包凱盛、趙浩賢、朱碧霞-長島慈濟)。 活動就在頒獎典禮的合照後圓滿溫馨結束,三位評審都強調了他們看到每一位參賽的學生都努力唱出了他們愛唱的歌、也散發出他們心中的陽光與活力!紐約文教中心副主任林威廷更是感受到學生用歌聲表達愛與感恩,這也是他看到了中文學校在教育學生上的成功之處。 The post 美東中文學校協會第六區 恢復舉辦國語歌唱比賽 first appeared on AsianinNY.com.
