A little bit background about Luis Fonsi, he is a Puerto Rican raised in Orlando, Florida. He debut on the music scene in 1998 with the release of his first album, Comenzare. This album became an instant hit on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, making him a star in Puerto Rico and across Latin America. Luis becomes an international sensation after he collaborated with famous artists such as Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, Emma Bunton, and Jose Feliciano. Now he moved to New York City and joined the Forever Tango dance to enhance their sensational moment together.

Forever Tango is created and directed by Luis Bravo, Forever Tango has become popular since its creation in San Francisco in 1994. It has spread its magnificent dance performance around the world and especially in Asia. Luis Bravo commented on his interview during the opening showcase on August 20, that he traveled to Asia 20 years ago travelling to China, Korea, and Japan. Luis still remembers some of the cities he travelled such as Shandong, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Seoul. He claimed that he has been traveling four times to Seoul, South Korea. When he was asked whether he still retains the same casts during the journey, he answered that every single journey he has taken, there are some minor changes to his personnel. Luis explained that his journey is based on passion. He love to see the audience has the same passion as him in dancing. When he perform Tango in front of the audience, he can see their passion and emotion towards the dance. He mentioned that in Asia, Japan’s people are very fond and enthusiastic of Tango dance. Maybe it is because Japan has close relations with U.S. since 60 years ago and during that period, Tango dance crosses to Japan and began to spread its popularity across the nation. But at this moment, Luis is very pleased to have a Latin Grammy Award winner, Luis Fonsi, joined his group and he hope to see his collaboration will create an amazing impression to the audience.
