For the Fall 2014, Watters presented the enchanted city of Venice in her bridal fashion show, “Venetian.” Vatana Watters is inspired by the art, music, architecture and pure romance of Venice. Watters perfectly interpreted her inspirations into her designs in ways to suit all types of brides, for each of them to be the most gorgeous bride on their wedding day.
As a young girl, Vatana Watters immigrated to the U.S. from Thailand and eventually founded the bridal gown powerhouse Watters Design. Watters started 28 years ago in Dallas, Texas. It first started with just a few dresses handmade by Vatana Watters for her family and friends. Then, Watters entered the market of well-designed special occasion dresses. Vatana Watters’ passion and mind for innovative designs had brought Watters to the international level.
For this Fall collection, Vatana was inspired by the architecture of Venice, as well as the Gothic, Byzantine and Moorish architecture. To present the enchanted and romantic Venice in NYC, Vatana incorporated intricate hand crafted embroidery with beading, hand placed lace appliques, and luxurious fabrications into classic silhouettes. Each bridal dress has spectacular details and style to portray its uniqueness and elegance.
Watters bridesmaids’ dresses are in the creamy tones, in subtle shades of mint and lavender. They are intricate, delicate and have magnificent custom beaded work. Watters bridesmaids have great characters, but also great when assisting the bride.

National Bridal Market, April 5-7 in Chicago, Illinois
White Gallery, April 6-8 in London, United Kingdom
