The New York International Bridal Week of 2012 that took place on Pier 94 in New York City from October 13th to 15th featured many international designers that include top USA designer Anne Barge, Indian designer Aruna Seth, UK designer Ian Stuart, and Asian designers Winnie Chlomin and Chris Lee of Winnie Couture.

Hundreds of bridal designers, retailers, and manufacturers attended and displayed their pieces at the grand Pier. The New York International Bridal Week provided a unified, convenient service and a one-stop buying experience for buyers who are looking for the perfect bridal gown and service package for their wedding. At the exhibition, people can also view and book services for their upcoming wedding. We especially love the fashion shows that were presented at the Fashion Theater at Pier 94.

It was a pleasure to attend the New York International Bridal Show of 2012. Though I do not fall into the category of a soon-to-be-bride, to witness the bridal market all at once was impressive. The bridal showcases triggered me to start thinking of my future bridal dress. Each and every design, style and silhouette of the bridal gowns left me in awe. If I were to get married, I would not be able to settle on one dress after viewing such a vast and amazing selection of bridal gowns! I would probably demand to wear more than one gown on the day of my wedding for this reason!

I enjoyed every moment of designer Anne Barge’s bridal show. The event was simply breath-taking as the music and lights elevated the runway for the beautiful models wearing Anne Barge’s gorgeous bridal gowns. I loved the collection because of the mix of modern, vintage and sophisticated look the models embodied. I was also attracted to the subtle but exquisite combination of flowers and lace that were used. The models justified the beauty and elegance of the gowns extremely well as they walked with grace and sophistication.

The first thing that comes to mind for wedding planning is all the time and hassle it would take to plan a beautiful and successful one, so what would make life easier during this planning process? An online website. I discovered The Little Dress Book, an online service geared towards helping brides find their perfect wedding dress and keeping them smiling in the process, to be one of the unique and innovative services for wedding planning out there.

I also got a chance to speak to many Asian designers during the event and I am truly impressed by all the beautiful and elegant designs they have shown during the New York International Bridal Week including:
