The Lane Style House was invited to attend Taipei IN Style 2013 and was on hand to cover the 8th annual Taipei IN Style event and to meet with several participating designers. AsianInNY is excited to share these amazing collections with you.
Although Taiwan does not officially have a fashion week, Taipei IN Style (TIS) is quickly becoming the most important and useful fashion event in Taiwan. TIS is annually sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Economic Affairs since 2006. The event attracts a number of fashion companies, up-an-coming fashion designers and brands under the same roof to showcase their best products and design initiatives.
This years event hosted a wide range of exhibitors, press, buyers and other trade professionals from various regions of the world, such as Brazil, China, Australia, France, India, Indonesia, UK, US, Singapore and Malaysia, to name a few. Some of the event’s activities included trunk shows, over 250 booth exhibitions, house shows and a series of business matchmaking meetings for generating trade opportunities.
The 11 house shows during TIS 2013 included FN. ICE’s “Modern Heritage” by Libolon, the joint fashion show “New Gen Spring/Summer 2014 Collection” by four Taiwanese designers; Crystal Wang, Eve Lin, Chun Ting Liu and Cecilia Tuan, Robyn Hung’s “Robyn Jetset India, Taiwanese top designers; Hsu Chiu-I and Hsu Yen-Lin’s S/S 2014 collections.
Taipei IN Style 2013 took place at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangong Exhibition Center and attracted several high-profile partners to include, W Taipei, Marie Claire, WSGN, Tequila Patron and MAC. These partnerships with TIS have definitely elevated the “Stylishly Luxurious” feel to the entire event, offering TIS patrons swanky VIP Lounges, Five-Star Hotel Accommodations & Sampling Booths.
