Twin celebrity designers To-Tam and To-Nya of SACHIKA are excited about their completion of the Spring 2012 Fashion Presentation during New York Fashion Week. “Mermaid Paradise: Dance with the Ocean” was presented at STYLE360 at the Metropolitan Pavilion South on Tuesday, September 13, 2011at 6pm to a packed venue of celebrities, buyers, editors, stylists and other fashion industry members.
The fashion event featured a wild opening dance that wowed the crowd to begin the runway show by Team Ohhh Dance. The show also featured a strong & emotional acoustic version of Pop Singer Wynter Gordon’s hit song dirty talk. The red was a sensation with guests like Omarion, Julissa Bermudez, Basketball Wives Jennifer Williams, Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Jackie Christie, Atlanta House Wives Nene Leakes, Derek J, Jerseylicious Tracy Dimarco, Basketball Player Matt Barnes, TV Correspondent Sharon Carpenter, Raquel Castro and many more. Attendees left with a great giftbag with products from supporters VuMee, Gwyneth Shoes, POParrazi Collection, O2 Spa, Juva, LA Colors, BeautiControl, Rihanna Reb’L Fleur, Mangodrin SF Vitamin and Red Hair.
With the Mermaid Paradise Collection, To-Tam and To-Nya have created a showcase that is inspired from “The Island of SACHIKA” where beautiful mermaids come to the shore at night and come to life. The collection is vibrant, bold and flirty portraying the playful multi-facets of the sea and the island. As a part of the collection the designers unveiled special dresses inspired by various Stoli vodka flavors as well as the Oksana, the winner dress from the 3 inspired dresses from the Stoli Competition.
The SACHIKA Twins hosted their official after party sponsored by Stoli Vodka at AVENUE night club with guests in attendance June Ambrose and Mischa Barton which closed the STYLE360 September 2011 fashion schedule with a bang.
