Noon by Noor showcased their new Fall/Winter 2014 collection in the Salon of Lincoln Center and Noon by Noor did not disappoint with their use of intricate and detailed embellishments. They referenced nature as the inspiration for their F/W ‘14 collection incorporating a combination of textures from felt and faux fur to neoprene, waffle wool, and mohair. Many designs featured the use of floral print and embellishments.
One design featured was a yellow embellished peplum dress, which accentuated the body with a flowing silhouette, a beautifully detailed flower-lace mid section, and a flowy waist followed by a straight bottom.
Another design, a burgundy embellished culotte jumpsuit, allowed for a elegant but also relaxed look with its wide bottomed pants. A burgundy sweetheart gown with embellished sleeves and neckline displayed a classic and elegantly feminine look with a train at the bottom of the back of the dress that followed the body, which created a sort of ballroom effect.
Some designs, such as a pair of beige felt relaxed pants paired with a burgundy sweetheart top with embellished sleeves, and a burgundy houndstooth jacquard wrap jacket, display both feminine and masculine tailoring in perfect harmony.
A royal purple velvet gown with a fur mid section that separated the top from an embellished bottom displayed Noon by Noor’s experimentation of combining textures.
