JSONG and . . . Way Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

Way Zen’s collections have been carried by scores of outstanding boutiques nationwide and her designs have been featured in Women’s Wear Daily. The company name, JSONG symbolizes Way Zen’s desire to bring Joy and Song to those who wear or encounter her clothes as well as the people who make her designs.

For Spring/Summer 2016, designer Way Zen was inspired to think of the incredible and deep beauty of fresh, ever changing water after reading the book The Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto.

According to the book, water molecules are affected by thoughts, words, and feelings and the most beautiful crystals are formed by water exposed to words of love and gratitude. Learning about water is a discovery about ourselves and the world because we are made of water and the world is water. The way we treat water, ourselves, and each other is the key to forming a kinder and more conscientious world. With this spirit, we created this collection.

The collection brings out the clear blues and water hues of sparkling inlets, lacy streams, and rushing rivers. Puffy white frothy ruffles, amazing blue crystal, lustrous pearl, precious coral, and rich sun kissed gold sequins evoke the rich colors of the ocean. The ancient Chinese symbol for water, abstract water drops and delicate snowflake cutouts show the glory of the many forms of water.
