FOCUS TAIWAN presents a group of six Taiwanese fashion designers (台灣設計師林鈺倫、黃嘉祥、胡雅娟、楊雪琪、賴盈菁與張穎) to showcase the creative force of contemporary fashion from Taiwan. The beautiful island of Taiwan, with its strong economy and advanced technology industry, is home to a burgeoning fashion industry with impressive fashion innovation and robust international commercial appeal. Vogue of Taiwan Editor at Large Rosalie Huang and Alex Wong from So You Think You Can Dance all attended the presentation.

Chang Ying Collection
The distinct styles of all six designers of FOCUS TAIWAN represent Taiwan’s rich multi-cultural history and energetic modern life style. The Free East womenswear collection, designed by sister team Annie and Jojo Lai, fuses traditional and modern worlds of Asian arts and culture featuring design collaborations with top contemporary Asian artists. Jane Hu, a veteran designer with a strong following for her über feminine collections, has an impressive business with flagship boutiques throughout Asia. Jasper Huang creates his own world of futuristic Asian-inspired glamour with breath-taking couture gowns and dramatically elegant womenswear. Eve Lin, a graduate of London’s Central St. Martin, started her critically acclaimed label in London, 2010 with a uniquely modern take on deconstructed chic. For over a decade, Shirley Yang has created a much-sought after collection with her signature feminine pretty dresses found in high end boutiques around the world. Award winning designer Chang Ying weaves handcrafted, eco-friendly, textured handbags and lux womenswear.
