On Saturday night of July 21, DL1961, known as the leader in perfect fit Premium Denim, presented The Denim Movement at Southampton Social Club (256 Elm Street. Southampton, NY), which celebrates a group of distinguished New Yorkers with a unique sense of style. Each participant is a personification of the DL1961 brand: a pioneer in their respective profession with notable achievements in his/her undeniably demanding industry.
DL1961 Premium Denim is a New York City based denim line that exclusively features XFIT Lycra- a fabric that never sags, bags or loses shape. The belief at DL1961 is that denim is more than a fashion statement; it’s a 24/7 lifestyle, regardless of gender or profession.
Guests at the event joined DL1961, the honored participants and the movement’s partner Pencils of Promise, a non-profit charity led by a passionate community of individuals making a positive impact on the world, in enjoying hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails, while supporting and brining awareness to the movement’s mission – To build sustainable schools, partnerships and solutions to enable basic education for underserved children in developing countries. VIPs in attendance include: Celebrity DJ Peter Conigliaro (aka DJPS1), Paige Management’s Brian Mazza, Publisher of Lifestyle Mirror Meg Bedford, BMF Media Group’s Ed Starr, RumbaTime’s Drew Deters and many more.
