Corrie Nielsen once again showcased her talent at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 since winning the fashion initiative back in 2010.
This time Corrie Nielsen reveals collection to the past, looking to a Medieval Latin word to summate Spring/Summer 2013. The subject of her latest collection is ‘Florilegium’ which means the gathering of flowers, but it refers to a collective of writing. Corrie writes a story, spanning centuries, on sculpted forms and elaborate tailoring.
From the showcasing we can see that metallic silk is shaped around the entire body as a giant all-encompassing peony rose. Besides, large sculpted petals in a gradient of grey are ribboned in at the waist and followed by trailing swathes of finely layered ivory silk.

Corrie Nielsen obtained a First Class BA Honours degree in Fashion Design Women swear from Central St Martins. She launched her eponymous label in 2010 after she was chosen as the winner of Fashion Fringe by John Galliano.
As a daughter of a prominent American sculptor, Corrie Nielsen has been featured in top print, digital and televised media throughout the Americas, East Asia and Europe.
