For the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented two Korean women’s wear collections that included KAAL EISUKTAE by Suk-tae Lee and JARRET by Ji-youn Lee.
KAAL EISUKTAE by Suk-tae Lee S/S 16 collection is entitled “Dust to Dust.” The second chapter of the Bible of Daniel “A Dream of King” is the inspiration of this collection.
The retro-western colors of navy, indigo blue, black, white and beige were used on materials such as leather, wool, denim, cotton and polyester to complete the modern contemporary look.
JARRET by Ji-youn Lee S/S 16 collection is entitled “Persona.” This collection shows the two sides of a women, that of the designer’s and that of her alter-ego.
The sharp looks in the collection were presented in the colors of black, white, crème, pastel blue, royal blue and carmine. Fabrics used include fine silk and cotton.
