On September 9, 2013, Angel Sanchez presented his Spring 2014 collection at his exclusive runway fashion show. His exhibition was held on the white colored theme runway in the same building that housed his corporate office and showroom. Sanchez’s luxury collection was inspired by the Venezuelan artist Magdalena Fernandez’s video LLUVIA.
The first ensemble that prepares the spectators for what to come was a black sleeveless crepe romper embroidered with three-dimensional pyramid acetate on the bodice. The final ensemble graced the runway in a deep blue A-line crepe dress with a French gauze overlay. The dress zigzagged cutouts throughout and added just the perfect amount of modernity and dazzle to a more classic and traditional gown.
All of the models wore Andrea Gomez white stilettos with a gold plated strap covering the instep of the foot. The models walked out to the white four-sided shaped runway from an angled white structure. The techno music from the DJ box in the corner of the venue enlivened the atmosphere of the runway. A familiar face to the people attending this exhibition was Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo who is currently working for Extra TV as a special correspondent.
