4 Corner of a Circle Fall 2013

Designer Natsuko Kanno looked to her Japanese roots for inspiration from the ikusa, which means battle.

For the fall 2013 collection of 4 Corners of A Circle, show started with two Japanese dancers slowly presenting their routine to an intense drum beat.

For this collection the designer takes very masculine styles of design such as broad shoulders and protective vests, and feminized them with the use of softer material, pencil skirts and close fitting shorts.

The hair was center parted and twisted up into retro rolls that gave the look a sleek, “old meets new” vibe that beautifully accentuated the samurai inspired collection. For more: www.vvvv-o.com
