The Verizon DROID event was held on October 27th to disclose the collaboration of Motorola and Verizon’s new Droid phones, which are Droid Turbo 2 and the Droid Maxx 2.
The event emphasized the most important specification of their new creations; the world’s first shatterproof screen. The team behind this astonishing creation believed that the solution to the cracked screens of their smart phones is to create a devices so consumers no longer have to worry about the damages on their phone screens due to accidents.
Presentation were made by dropping the new Droid Turbo 2 on a concrete brick to demonstrate the phones’ shatterproof screen. Of course, the new Droid smartphones lived up to the expectations and did not break. As someone with smartphone anxiety, I naturally cringe whenever I hear phones falling on the ground, but Rick Osterloh, President of Motorola Mobility, mentioned that the shatterproof screen, also known as the Moto ShatterShield on the Droid Turbo 2 can relieve all consumers with smartphone anxiety.
The Droid Turbo screen assurance program is available if there are any damages on the shatterproof screen within two years of time.
