The LINQ Las Vegas Brings You an All New Shopping Experience

By Fiona Wang

When talking about Las Vegas, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Gambling? The crazy nightlife? The All-You-Can-Eat buffet? Or are you already expecting something new? Now, presented by Caesars Palace, you are going to experience the new Vegas.

Located at the heart of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, The LINQ, estimated with 20.4 million foot traffic to pass by each year, is an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district. It is situated between The Quad Resort & Casino and Flamingo Las Vegas, facing Caesars Palace directly.

Unlike other hotels on The Strip, which are all indoor with a closed environment, The LINQ is an open pedestrian-friendly district with a true neighborhood vibe, which goes perfectly with the weather in Vegas, which is always sunny, always cheerful, and relaxing.

There are more than 30 unique stores open at The LINQ, such as the well-known, LA based Sprinkles Cupcakes (which also offers a new 24 hour ATM cupcake machine onsite); Goorin Bros., a one of a kind hat shop that is famous for its customized, hand-made hats; O’Sheas, a 23-year reign on the Las Vegas Strip that remodeled and opened at The LINQ with a whole new look; Brooklyn Bowl, the “One of the most incredible places on earth” raved by Rolling Stone Magazine, now opens its first outside branch store of Brooklyn, which will surely become the new entertaining spotlight on The Strip. There are more interesting stores you will hardly find elsewhere, but you can have the chance to go shopping around all at one time in a day, conveniently and delightfully!

Walking through The LINQ, at the end of the district comes the beautiful crown jewel: the world’s tallest observation wheel, known as the Las Vegas High Roller. Ready for a spin? Then set your sights on the 550-foot-tall High Roller, with a total of 28 cabins that accommodate 40 guests for each. The price during the daytime is $24.95, while the nighttime price is $34.95. To keep the Las Vegas spirit alive, it also has a lounge bar on the way to the wheel ride, so you don’t need to worry about what to drink when hanging out with friends up in the air.

The ride takes about 30 minutes in total, with a touring video accompanying you all the way to answer your questions if there’s any. The wheel cabins are designed with only one rim instead of two, which allows every participant to enjoy the full breathtaking 360 degree view of Las Vegas. If you are looking for somewhere unique for a personal party or a special occasion, High Roller will be your next best choice to surprise your guests.
