Taiwanese Mandopop singer Jam Hsiao (蕭敬騰) is on his way to Connecticut to make U.S Debut at Mohegan Sun. However, before his arrival, he took a detour and held an autograph session in New York to meet his fans. The autographed session was held at Crossing 360 in Queens Crossing Mall at Flushing on Monday, November 25th at 3:30pm.
Jam Hsiao is a Taiwan Mandarin artist with a deep and sonorous voice. He is able to sing diverse concert genre, including rock, lyrical, and jazz. At the age of 17, while he was still in high school, he started working as a restaurant singer. In 2007, he shortly rose to fame after only three brief appearances on One Million Star, which is the Taiwanese equivalence of American Idol. In 2008, he signed a contract with Warner Music and became a professional musician. His music career took off and his music was release in various Chinese regions. His music was received well with excellent sales and media praise. He has released numerous albums and made TV appearances. He has won awards for both music and acting performances; some include the Golden Melody Awards, the 31st Hong Kong Golden Film Awards, CCTV-MTV Awards, Metro radio Mandarin Music Awards, and more.
Fans flocked to Queens Crossing mall to meet the Taiwanese singer. The fans and supporters of Hsiao who spent $108 or more to see his coming concert in CT received an autographed CD and a photo-op with Jam Hsiao, himself. He greeted each fan with a warm smile, a firm handshake, and “thank you for your support.” The crowd was definitely excited to see Hsiao and cannot wait for his show at Mohegan Sun.
Jam Hsiao will perform two wonderful concerts on Thursday at Mohegan Sun, The Golden King of Hsiao U.S Debut will be performed once at 1am and another at 2pm.
