Now in its fifth year, Asia Society’s Celebration of Asia Week gala brings together leading Asian and Asian American designers and artists, as well as Asian art dealers, collectors and enthusiasts, in a benefit to support Asia Society’s museum and cultural activities and its mission of connecting Asians and Americans. AsianInNY is very honored to participate the cocktail reception and supports this great event!

Asia Week New York showcases Asian art exhibits, collaboration of art museums, international art dealer and auction houses. The event runs from March 15–23rd in New York City and is geared for an international audience. In Celebration of Asia Week New York, Asia Society had a Dinner and Dance Benefit Gala at The Pierre (2 East 61st St, New York, NY) on Monday, March 18, 2013 with Honorary Chair Jason Wu.

The Gala kicked off with a cocktail reception in which press, media and nicely dressed attendees could mingle and talk. The cocktail is followed by a dinner in The Pierre’s historic Grand Ballroom. The unique dinner menu by Guest Chefs, Pichet Ong and Simpson Wong was created specially for this event. Along with the dinner, there was a live auction and guests enjoyed and danced to live music by Peter Duchin and his Orchestra.

Asia Society’s Celebration of Asia Week benefit gala was a wonderful night filled with special guests, a unique dinner experience, dancing and auction. Most importantly, it was a evening in support of Asia Week New York and connecting Asians and Asian Americans.
