On April 3, Thursday evening, Versace held a private event at its New York flagship store. The event was hosted together by Mia Chen (Host of New Tang Dynasty Entertainment News), Samuel Zhou (Executive Vice President of NTD), Alla Farberov (Senior Buyer at Versace), and Forest Zhang (NTD Director of Business Development). It was an enjoyable event with cocktails, shopping discounts, raffling prizes, and a fashion show.

The fashion show presented the most representable pieces of the season. Versace is all about color and print. Each style has several colors, such as petal pink, turquoise, golden yellow, blood orange and of course black and white. The varieties of color choices allow one to easily mix and match, and dress up or down depending on the occasion. This season, Versace has some amazing hand embroidered handbags. Macy’s is holding one of the Versace handbags of the season. The fashion show was short, but it spoke for the season.

If you shop, you can win some of the amazing prizes, such as the Versace sunglasses, Versace handbag, Milan Fashion show tickets, and an exclusive private shopping and brunch at the flagship store with five friends. Luckily, two of our Asian In NY friends won the Versace sunglasses. Were you one of the lucky ones?

Even without the prizes, it was an enjoyable social night, and a chance to see Versace’s newest collection.
