Last few years, many local Taiwanese communities held the annual Hello Taiwan charity concert and raised over $30,000 to support Breezy Point firemen whose houses burned down in Hurricane Sandy, domestic violence victims in Queens and Brooklyn, typhoon victims in the Philippines, concert fire burn victims in Taiwan and Hurricane Matthew aftermath in Haiti. Also through the event, the “Hello Taiwan” charity concert is able to showcase top Taiwanese and New York local musical talent to the community.

This year, Hello Taiwan organizers will dedicate the charity event to the kids in Puerto Rico who have lost their homes due to the disaster caused by Hurricane Maria.

Therefore, this year’s event, organizers would like to make it a family day so kids are encouraged to join the event to understand the meaning of “giving” and help to support the great cause to raise money to help rebuild Puerto Rico. Also, Hello Taiwan has partnered with “The Little People Party” to bring kids with lots of games and toys to enjoy and celebrate Halloween together!

Even better, the Taiwanese Food Bazaar will feature delectable and authentic Taiwanese dishes that you can’t find anywhere else.
