National Association of Asian American Professionals, New York (NAAAP-NY) along with Big Brothers Big Sisters – Asian Mentoring Committee and Cooper & Cooper presented a celebration of Asian Heritage Month with Flavors of Asia – A Culinary Experience at Japan Society on May 19th.
This event took us to enjoy great culinary experience with exotic cuisines of Asia including: Taiwanese Bento from Taiwan Bear House, Vietnamese sandwiches from Joju, Chinese spicy cuisine from Han Dynasty, Indian cuisine from Inday, Thai food from Pure Thai Cookhouse, Korean food from Woorijip, as well as the popular dessert from Lady M. Besides, attendees got to sample some Asian beverages including refreshing tea from T Shop.
In addition to all the delicious food, Red Silk Dancers from Chinatown presented some beautiful cultural dance performance to entertain the guests.
The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that cultivates, supports, and promotes Asian American leaders. NAAAP offers professional development opportunities on the local and national level, engages its membership in community service, and organizes professional networking events. Through NAAAPNY, members work together to enhance leadership in their careers and communities.
