The rainy season has come, and so has the Green Festival New York. The Green Festival New York took place at Pier 94 from April 26-27. It is a time to introduce and celebrate the growing efforts of sustainability and green living.
The Green Festival presented exhibitors, which ranged from Vegan/Alternative/Non GMO Food & Beverages, Organic Food & Beverages, Home & Garden, Green Pets, Local & Artisan Food/Kitchen, Green Building & Smart Energy, Organic Body Care/ Health Nutrition, and Eco Fashion & Art.
The Green Festival was covered in all green living from the most basic foods to lifestyle. It is a very enjoyable festival as well as a very educating festival. Food exhibitors provide tasters. All the passionate exhibitors are willing to introduce and explain to you about their green products and services.
The festival also included a Sustainable Beer & Wine Garden, a Vegan Vegetarian Food Court, Yoga Pavilion, Business & Technology Stage, Home & Community Stage, and a Family Fun Stage. All members of the family can find their needs and interests in the festival.
The Green Festival didn’t forget the fashion lovers. On both Saturday and Sunday, the festival presented the “Fashionably Green” showcasing sustainable style. Partnering with Fashion Fights Poverty, the Green Festival presented three designers, which included Stash- www.stashdress.com, AstridLand- www.astridland.com, and Vespertine- www.vespertine.ca.
Each innovative designer showcased their designs in matching the theme of green living and green lifestyle, such as adding convenient pockets and creating reversible garments.
