The third annual “Gather New York” gala once again united the east coast Chinese community and friends in academia with wonderful performance at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Audience enjoyed selections from the splendid tradition of Chinese performing arts including opera, dance, comedic performance and music from both southern and northern China.

We are truly dazzled by the unbelievable Sichang Face mask changing trick, amazed by astonishing dance performance by our friend Ashley Liang and her dance school students, and entertained by melodious FJ Music Fusion’s music performance that these two female musicians revitalize Chinese traditional music by fusing with rock and western music.

Besides, a world-renowned orchestra and a prominent national Chinese opera singer also presented some of the best songs China has to offer.
