On October 9, 2015, over a thousand important guests were invited to celebrate the 104th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). AsianInNY was honored to be invited to New York’s Marriott Marquis, a perfect venue to showcase the growth of Taiwan.

The Double 10, celebrated on the tenth of October, represents the fall of the Qing Dynasty along with China, following with the creation of the Republic, democratic Taiwan. On this day, the people of Taiwan come together to celebrate their accomplishments as a nation and commit to the continuation of these accomplishments both internationally and nationally.

Taiwan’s National Birthday Gala was a huge success in every way. The event was made even more spectacular with the VIP guests such as: Permanent Representative of Solomon Islands to the United Nations His Excellency (H.E.) Ambassador Colin Beck, Congressman of the U.S House of Representatives Honorable (Hon.) Charles Rangel, Deputy Speaker of New Jersey General Assembly Honorable Gordon Johnson, and Mr. Eric Ng, President of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association.
