Sen. Eric Adams formally launched his campaign for Brooklyn Borough President today on the steps of Borough Hall on Sunday Feb 3rd, AsianInNY co-founders and Asian Real Estate Association of America’s Metro New York Chapter’s President Angie Lee all attended this historic event.
Though it’s cold and windy, but more than 40 elected officials announced their support for Adams today, including Comptroller John Liu, Borough President Marty Markowitz, former Borough President Howard Golden and Council Member Dominic Recchia.
Nearly 2,500 people have already contributed to Adam’s campaign to become Brooklyn’s next Borough President—bringing his fundraising total of mostly small-dollar donations to about $420,000 as of the last filing on January 15.
Senator Eric Adams recently supported AsianInNY’s Lunar New Year Celebration which drew over 500 people with a room full of talented Asian American performers, fashion designers and community leaders!
