Guo Xiang Sun throws the first pitch

And now it was time for the first pitch. A tradition at the beginning of every MLB game. Only the selected ones have the privilege and honor to throw the first pitch. Few celebrities, politicians, artists, and special guest have successfully threw a ball from the mound that actually reach home plate. Many embarrass themselves on the mound with erratic throws where the ball is nowhere close the the catcher’s gloves. Guo Xiang Sun, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in New York, was handed the baseball that night to throw the first pitch. Wearing a Matt Harvey jersey, Consulate General Sun threw an almost perfect strike down the mound. No embarrassment for him. The whole stadium loved it.
