2019 “Hello Taiwan” Halloween Fundraiser Press Conference

Last few years, many local Taiwanese communities held the annual “Hello Taiwan” charity event and raised over $60,000 to support Breezy Point Firemen whose houses burned down in Hurricane Sandy, domestic violence victims in Queens and Brooklyn, typhoon victims in the Philippines, concert fire burn victims in Taiwan, Hurricane Matthew aftermath in Haiti, Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and last year we donated to the “Hurricane Michael” victims and “Measles & Rubella Initiative”, a global partnership ensuring no child dies from measles. Early this year, we also held an Easter fundraiser event to help The Rollstone Foundation to raise funds for special needs children to find them a home in the United States.

From the success of last year’s event, we would like to once again make “Hello Taiwan” a family event so kids are encouraged to join to understand the meaning of “giving” and help to support the great cause to raise money to help our communities. This 2019 Halloween event we will be donating proceeds to support Rainforest Foundation US to save the Amazon rainforest and its people from ruthless fires!

Even better, 2019 Hello Taiwan Halloween Fundraiser’s Taiwanese Food Bazaar will feature delectable and authentic Taiwanese dishes that you can’t find anywhere else.
