Bonnie Jolie’s  Take aways:

Hong Kong is the prefer and optimal choice to do business with.  It is a convenient connection port to Asia.  A common language of English is used and is also International friendly.

Imports and exports are duty free versus with Mainland China there are fees.  Quote from one of the speakers, “Do business with Hong Kong, as economic grow the appetite for luxurious goods grows.”  The popular Tiffany & Co. also uses Hong Kong as a portal to Asia.

Hong Kong is good connectors with Taiwan and Korea.  These are the shipping cargos at Hong Kong.  There are many of these!!!

Here are a few snapshots from my visit to Hong Kong during Sep 2011:

(Yummy egg tart)

Tribute to Steve Jobs.  Hong Kong loves the apple!

The metrocard of Hong Kong called “Octopus”.  It is used as a debit card at the local 7-eleven and many vendors. You can even pay your library fees with this card. So cool!

Only in Hong Kong local supermarket where you will find crustless bread!  This is used to make scrumptious tea time sandwiches.

HSBC bank at night the red and white lights one.  Hong Kong’s night is as bright as the day. No wonder Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world!
